The Corum Golden Bridge ref. 13.150.56 is an exceptional example of avant-garde Swiss watchmaking and one of Corum\u2019s most recognizable creations. Introduced as a concept in 1980<\/strong>, the Golden Bridge is built around an extraordinary linear baguette movement<\/strong>, arranged vertically within a transparent case so that the movement itself effectively becomes the dial. Corum continues to describe this architecture as the defining feature of the Golden Bridge collection.<\/p>\n

Case<\/h3>\n

Crafted in 18kt yellow gold<\/strong>, the distinctive rectangular case measures approximately 18 \u00d7 33 mm. <\/strong>\u00a0Large faceted sapphire crystals expose the movement from both the front and rear, creating the characteristic transparent architecture of the Golden Bridge. The winding and setting crown is unusually positioned on the caseback<\/strong>, preserving the clean profile of the case.<\/p>\n

Dial<\/h3>\n

There is effectively no conventional dial<\/strong>. Instead, the vertically mounted Golden Bridge movement occupies the centre of the transparent case and becomes the visual focus of the watch. The extensively decorated gold bridge carries the Corum signature, while simple gold-toned hands indicate the hours and minutes.<\/p>\n

This open construction allows the movement to appear almost suspended within the case, giving the Golden Bridge its unmistakable architectural character.<\/p>\n

Movement<\/h3>\n

Manual-winding Corum Golden Bridge linear movement<\/strong>, based on the remarkable baguette movement originally conceived by independent watchmaker Vincent Calabrese<\/strong>. The movement’s components are arranged vertically along a single narrow axis, creating one of the most distinctive mechanical layouts in modern watchmaking.<\/p>\n
