Cartier Santos de Cartier Medium – Ref. W2SA0016

The Cartier Santos de Cartier ref. W2SA0016 is a contemporary interpretation of one of the most historically important wristwatch designs. Presented in the versatile medium size, this model combines stainless steel with an 18kt yellow gold bezel, creating the classic bicolor Santos aesthetic while retaining the practical QuickSwitch and SmartLink systems of the modern generation. Case

The case combines stainless steel with an 18kt yellow gold bezel and measures 41.9 × 35.1 mm, with a slim 8.83 mm thickness. The characteristic exposed screws, rounded-square profile and seven-sided crown set with a faceted synthetic blue spinel are unmistakable Santos design elements.

The watch is protected by a sapphire crystal and is water resistant to 100 metres / 10 bar.

Dial

Classic silvered opaline dial with black Roman numerals, railway-style minute track and Cartier’s signature blued-steel sword-shaped hands. The clean time-only layout with central seconds preserves the balanced and highly recognizable Santos aesthetic.

Movement

Automatic Cartier Manufacture calibre 1847 MC, providing hours, minutes and central seconds. Cartier specifies a power reserve of approximately 40 hours for the W2SA0016.

Bracelet / Strap

Original Cartier bicolor bracelet in stainless steel and 18kt yellow gold, equipped with the SmartLink adjustment system, allowing individual links to be removed without conventional tools. (Max wrist size currently 17cm)

Condition

Very nice overall condition with light signs of wear. The movement runs accurately. No service history available.
