NOMOS Glashütte Ludwig neomatik – Ref. 282

The NOMOS Ludwig neomatik ref. 282 combines the classical design language of the Ludwig collection with NOMOS’ exceptionally slim automatic neomatik movement. With its traditional Roman numerals, silver-plated dial and compact 36 mm proportions, it retains the character of a classic dress watch while offering a modern automatic manufacture calibre.

Case

The polished stainless-steel case measures 36 mm in diameter, just 7.0 mm thick, and 46 mm lug-to-lug. A domed sapphire crystal protects the dial, while the sapphire display caseback provides a clear view of the movement.

Dial

The galvanized, white silver-plated dial presents the traditional Ludwig aesthetic with slender Roman numerals and a fine minute scale.

Oxidized black hands provide strong contrast against the light dial, while the red small-seconds hand introduces the characteristic modern accent of the neomatik version.

Movement

Powered by the automatic NOMOS manufacture calibre DUW 3001, one of the key movements of the neomatik generation.

Despite being self-winding, the movement is only 3.2 mm thick. It features the proprietary NOMOS Swing System, contains 27 jewels and provides a power reserve of up to 43 hours. Its compact construction is largely responsible for the complete watch remaining only 7 mm thick.

Strap

Fitted with the original NOMOS black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan leather strap and original NOMOS stainless-steel winged pin buckle. This is also the factory configuration specified by NOMOS for ref. 282.

Condition

Very nice overall condition with light signs of wear. The movement runs accurately. No service history available.

The watch comes as a full set with its original box and papers.
