The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ref. 15200, dating to 2000, is a particularly attractive variation of Rolex’s classic 34 mm Date. This example features the less commonly seen blue sunburst Arabic dial, smooth stainless-steel bezel and Oyster bracelet.

Case

The stainless-steel Oyster case measures 34 mm in diameter, with a smooth polished stainless-steel bezel and screw-down winding crown.

A sapphire crystal protects the dial, incorporating Rolex’s characteristic Cyclops magnifier over the date aperture at 3 o’clock. The reference was originally rated to 100 metres / 10 ATM.

Dial

The standout feature is the blue sunburst dial, featuring applied Arabic numerals at 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10 o’clock, complemented by luminous applied hour markers at the remaining positions.

Movement

Powered by the automatic Rolex calibre 3135, one of the manufacture’s longest-running and most respected automatic movements.

The calibre features 31 jewels, operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers approximately 48 hours of power reserve, together with quick-set date and stop-seconds functionality.

Bracelet

Fitted with the classic stainless-steel Rolex Oyster bracelet.

Condition

Very nice overall condition with light signs of wear. The movement runs accurately.
