The Breguet Héritage Phase de Lune ref. 8860 is an elegant expression of classical haute horlogerie, distinguished by its gracefully curved tonneau-shaped case and refined moon phase complication. Combining Breguet’s traditional craftsmanship with a distinctive case design, the Héritage collection offers a sophisticated alternative to conventional round dress watches.

Case

Crafted in 18kt rose gold, the tonneau-shaped case measures 35 × 25 mm and features Breguet’s signature coin-edge (fluted) caseband. The elegantly curved profile follows the wrist naturally, while the solid case back preserves the classical appearance of the watch.

Dial

The elegant natural white mother-of-pearl dial is enhanced by finely executed hand-guilloché decoration, creating a captivating interplay of light. The dial features applied Breguet numerals, signature blued Breguet hands, a retrograde power reserve indicator, and a beautifully integrated moon phase display, combining practical complications with timeless aesthetics.

Movement

Automatic Breguet calibre 586L, an in-house movement developed specifically for the Héritage collection. The movement incorporates a silicon balance spring, operates at 21,600 vph (3 Hz), and offers approximately 36 hours of power reserve. Although concealed behind the solid case back, it reflects Breguet’s modern technical expertise while maintaining the traditional appearance of the watch.
