The Breitling Navitimer ref. A23322 is one of the most recognizable pilot’s chronographs ever produced. A direct descendant of the legendary Navitimer introduced in 1952, it combines the iconic circular slide rule bezel with a highly legible chronograph layout, making it an enduring favorite among aviation enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Case

Crafted in stainless steel, the case measures 41.8 mm in diameter and features the Navitimer’s signature bidirectional slide rule bezel, allowing a variety of flight calculations including speed, distance, fuel consumption, and rate of climb. The polished case, pump chronograph pushers, and sapphire crystal complete the timeless design.

Dial

The elegant white dial features contrasting black subdials in the classic tri-compax chronograph layout, creating the highly desirable “panda” configuration. Applied baton hour markers, luminous hands, and the signature circular slide rule ensure excellent legibility while preserving the unmistakable Navitimer aesthetic. A discreet date display is positioned at 4:30.

Movement

Automatic Breitling calibre 23, based on the proven ETA 7753 architecture and chronometer-certified by the COSC. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz), the movement offers approximately 42 hours of power reserve and is renowned for its reliability, precision, and ease of servicing.
