Breitling Navitimer 01 Chronograph – Ref. MB0128

The Breitling Navitimer 01 Blacksteel ref. MB0128 is a bold and contemporary interpretation of Breitling’s legendary aviation chronograph. Combining the unmistakable Navitimer slide-rule design with a 46 mm black DLC-coated steel case and Breitling’s manufacture B01 chronograph movement, it offers a distinctly modern and technical character while remaining instantly recognizable as a Navitimer.

Case

Crafted in stainless steel with a black DLC coating, the case measures 46 mm in diameter and features the characteristic bidirectional rotating slide-rule bezel. The substantial dimensions give the watch a strong wrist presence, while the black finish creates a more technical and understated appearance than the traditional polished-steel Navitimer. The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal and sapphire display caseback. Water resistance is rated to 30 metres.

Dial

The black dial features the Navitimer’s signature circular aviation slide rule together with a classic tri-compax chronograph layout. Contrasting subdials and subtle red accents enhance legibility, while applied hour markers and luminous hands maintain the functional, instrument-inspired character of the model. A discreet date display between 4 and 5 o’clock adds everyday practicality.

Movement

Automatic Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01 (B01), a COSC-certified integrated chronograph movement featuring a column wheel and vertical clutch. The 47-jewel movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and offers approximately 70 hours of power reserve. The movement can be admired through the sapphire display caseback.

Bracelet / Strap

Original Breitling black rubber strap with original Breitling folding clasp, complementing the all-black appearance of the watch.
