Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classique – Ref. 250.5.86

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Classique ref. 250.5.86 is an elegant two-tone interpretation of the iconic Reverso, combining stainless steel and 18kt yellow gold with the traditional compact proportions of the Classique. Its silver dial, blued hands and hand-wound manufacture movement preserve the essential character of the historic Reverso design.

Case

The reversible rectangular case combines a stainless-steel carrier with an 18kt yellow-gold inner case, framed by the characteristic horizontal gadroons at the top and bottom. The case measures approximately 23 × 38 mm, giving the watch the slim, elongated proportions associated with the traditional Reverso Classique.

Dial

The silver dial features oversized black Arabic numerals, a chemin-de-fer minute track and elegant blued sword-shaped hands.The simple two-hand configuration emphasizes the strong Art Deco geometry of the Reverso, while the contrasting blue hands add a subtle touch of color.

Movement

Powered by the manual-winding Jaeger-LeCoultre calibre 846, a movement specifically developed for the rectangular proportions of the Reverso.The movement provides hours and minutes in keeping with the deliberately simple character of this Monoface Reverso.

Strap

Fitted with its original brown Jaeger-LeCoultre leather strap and original Jaeger-LeCoultre buckle.

Condition

Very nice overall condition with light signs of wear consistent with age. The movement runs accurately. No service history available.
