Rolex Datejust 36 – Ref. 1601

The Rolex Datejust ref. 1601 is one of the most iconic vintage Rolex models ever produced. Introduced in the 1960s and remaining in production through the 1970s, it represents the classic Datejust formula with its elegant fluted bezel, acrylic crystal, and timeless proportions.

Case

Crafted in stainless steel, the Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and is fitted with the signature white gold fluted bezel, a defining feature of the Datejust line. The warm character of the acrylic crystal and the elegant case proportions give the watch its unmistakable vintage appeal.

Dial

Elegant silver dial with applied hour markers and baton hands. The clean and balanced design is complemented by the signature date display at 3 o’clock with cyclops magnification, creating one of the most recognizable dial layouts in watchmaking.
