The Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date ref. 115234 is the precious-metal-accented version of Rolex’s classic 34 mm Date, combining a stainless-steel Oyster case with an 18kt white-gold fluted bezel. This example features a silver dial and original stainless-steel Oyster bracelet, giving the watch a particularly clean and understated appearance.

Case

The Oyster case measures 34 mm in diameter and is crafted from stainless steel, complemented by the characteristic 18kt white-gold fluted bezel.

A sapphire crystal protects the dial, with Rolex’s Cyclops lens magnifying the date at 3 o’clock. The screw-down Twinlock crown and Oyster construction provide a factory water-resistance rating of 100 metres.

Dial

The silver sunburst dial features applied baton hour markers, luminous accents and matching Rolex hands.

A central sweep seconds hand completes the time display, while the date aperture at 3 o’clock is magnified by the Cyclops lens. The monochromatic combination of the silver dial, steel case and white-gold bezel gives this configuration a restrained and versatile character.

Movement

Powered by the automatic Rolex calibre 3135, one of the brand’s longest-running and most established automatic movements.

The calibre 3135 features 31 jewels, operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and provides approximately 48 hours of power reserve. It offers a quick-set date and stop-seconds function for precise time setting.

Bracelet

Fitted with its original stainless-steel Rolex Oyster bracelet, providing a sportier appearance than the Jubilee bracelet more commonly associated with fluted-bezel Rolex models.
